K92 Mining Limited are the owners the high-grade Kainantu Gold Mine in Eastern Highlands Province. Since commencing operations in 2016, we have delivered consistent production growth. More importantly, we have contributed significantly to the economy of Papua New Guinea, more than 90% of our employees and contractors are from PNG and our local education and skills development initiatives which include scholarships, traineeships and adult literacy programs continue to bring significant benefit the communities in which we operate. 

We are now transforming the operation with a new 1.2 mtpa process plant as well as extensive construction and expansion across site that will see us triple the output from our mine by 2027. About the role

Partner with key internal stakeholders to provide effective recruitment services required for the delivery of the employee life cycle.

Key accountabilities of this position include.

  • Develop appropriate social media to be used as sourcing tools and candidate database information.
  • Ensure end to end recruitment services are provided for hiring managers including but not limited to advertising of roles, selection criteria, screening of applicants, interviews pre – employment assessments.
  • Supporting hiring managers in the recruitment process, providing coaching where necessary and being a member of the interview panel.
  • Ensure Hiring Managers are provided with regular status reports on recruitment activities.
  • In conjunction with the Community Relations Team, ensure all candidates within the local areas have been mapped and recorded in the appropriate database to provide clear sight of labour availability within the local communities.

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you must have a tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent and member of PNG Human Resource Institute. You must have a minimum of Three (3) years of relevant work experience in similar roles. In addition to this, you will have some or all the following.

  • Possess current Class 6 driver’s license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office suite, especially excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Strong active listening & interpersonal skills for rapport building, conflict resolution and training.
  • Must have Page-Up software knowledge & experience is desirable.
