About the role

The Crusher Operator is responsible to perform the day-to-day operation of the three-stage crushing and screening plant and conveying and stacking system.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Perform the day-to-day operation of the 3-stage crushing and screening plant and conveying and stacking system.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently to maximize throughput.
• Monitor equipment and systems to insure proper operation.
• Ensure quality of material being crushed, screened, and stacked to maximize permeability and recovery.

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you must obtain a minimum qualification of Grade 10 and basic technical trade qualifications. You must have experience in crushing and screening and stacking operations is preferred. You must also have experience with operation and maintenance of crushing equipment including but not limited to jaw crushers, cone crushers, HPGR crushers, screens, agglomeration, conveyors and stackers. In addition to this, you will have some or all the following.

• Has three (3) or more years work experiences
• Ability to perform duties with minimum supervision.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Maintain work relationship with colleague workers, senior workers.
