As we continue our transformation into a leading mid-tier one gold producer, we are seeking an exceptional sustainability leader to help shape the next chapter of our journey.

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Board Committees, Investors, and Operational leaders, this role will influence how K92 integrates sustainability, climate resilience, human rights, responsible business practices, and stakeholder value creation into every aspect of the business.

In this role, you will go beyond reporting and compliance and lead the evolution of our sustainability strategy and ESG framework, helping the company strengthen its social licence to operate, enhancing investor confidence, supporting responsible growth, and creating long-term value for shareholders, employees, communities, and stakeholders.

You will be the central point of leadership for:

• Sustainability strategy and performance
• ESG governance and executive reporting
• Climate-related strategy and disclosures
• Human rights and responsible business practices
• ESG ratings and investor engagement
• Sustainability reporting and external disclosures
• Materiality assessments and ESG risk management
• Cross-functional ESG integration across corporate and operational functions

What You'll Bring

You are an experienced ESG and sustainability professional who can combine strategic thinking with the ability to influence, engage and deliver outcomes. It is highly desirable that you come from mining, resources, energy, infrastructure, engineering, financial services, consulting, or other highly regulated industry and have able to demonstrate;

• Significant experience in sustainability, ESG, climate, social performance, reporting, or related disciplines
• Tertiary qualifications in Sustainability, environmental Science / Management, Social Sciences or other relevant discipline
• Strong knowledge of leading sustainability and climate frameworks
• Experience engaging with senior leaders, boards, investors, regulators or ratings agencies
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement capability
• Commercial acumen and an ability to connect ESG performance with business outcomes
• A passion for responsible development and creating meaningful impact
