K92 Mining Limited operates the Kainantu Gold Mine in the Eastern Highlands Province. Since we launched in 2016, we've grown gold production every year, boosting Papua New Guinea's economy. We take pride in supporting your communities, with nearly 94% of our team members being fellow PNG locals.

About the role

Responsible for operating one or more of the following types of underground equipment; loaders/ Boggers, Moxi trucks etc. in a safe and appropriate manner to carry out earth moving task as directed by the shift supervisor for general mining operations.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Safely operate different types of Heavy Equipment as part of underground mining work plan pre task jobs.
• Perform daily safety prestart maintenance checks.
• Clean loader as scheduled and/or required.
• Perform other related earth moving or haul road construction duties.

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have a Grade 10 or equivalent qualification along with demonstrated experience in operating equipment in an underground mining environment. In addition to this you will possess current Class 7 driver’s license and have the proven ability to work without close supervision.
