About us

K92 Mining Limited are the owners the high-grade Kainantu Gold Mine in Eastern Highlands Province. Since commencing operations in 2016, we have delivered consistent production growth. More importantly, we have contributed significantly to the economy of Papua New Guinea, more than 90% of our employees and contractors are from PNG and our local education and skills development initiatives which include scholarships, traineeships and adult literacy programs continue to bring significant benefit the communities in which we operate. 

We are now transforming the operation with a new 1.2 mtpa process plant as well as extensive construction and expansion across site that will see us triple the output from our mine by 2027. About the role

Partner with key internal stakeholders to provide effective recruitment services required for the delivery of the employee life cycle.

Key accountabilities of this position include.

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job advertising, screening, interviews, assessments, and onboarding in partnership with hiring managers.
  • Ensure all recruitment and onboarding processes comply with company policies, maintain accurate records, and manage recruitment-related documents.
  • Confirm new hires meet all pre-employment requirements (medical checks, vaccinations, police clearance, identity verification).
  • Maintain internal recruitment databases and assist with invoice processing for service providers.
  • Promote safe work practices, identify hazards, enforce HSE compliance, and plan work to minimize risks.

 About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you must have:

  • 2 years relevant work experience in high volume recruitment preferably in mining operations
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Experience in use of Talent Acquisition databases (PageUp preferable).
  • Pronto experience will be advantageous
  • Sound planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and autonomously.
  •    Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  •    Strong active listening & interpersonal skills for rapport building, conflict resolution & training.
