K92 Mining Limited are the owners the high-grade Kainantu Gold Mine in Eastern Highlands Province. Since commencing operations in 2016, we have delivered consistent production growth. About the role

In this role you will administer our employee technical training programs as we seek to develop our national staff in a range of areas specifically electrical maintenance. You will ensure that these programs meet K92 Mining standards and external training accreditation where necessary.

Key Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

  • Deliver technical and non-technical training as directed, ensuring alignment and compliance with the Technical Training Standard (HR-ST-701).
  • Assist department Trainers with maintenance of Training Needs Analysis and training planning activities.
  • Administer Safetrac training, including updating records, tracking compliance rates and production of reports.
  • Assist with scheduling of training for non-technical training programs.
  • Support delivery of School to Mine programs and Wellness Programs on site.
  • Assist with administration and management of training documents for HR Department.
  • Monitor training provided for personnel and develop effective training materials, evaluations and record keeping systems consistent with existing site document control.
  • Ensure accurate training records are maintained.
  • Actively promote a safe and healthy culture.
  • Ensure all K92 safety standards, policies & procedures are always adhered to
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative, company, and personal HSE systems.
  • Assist in delivery of site-based training to ensure compliance with HSE and alignment with Mandatory Training (HR-FM-701) and Induction Training (HR-FM-702).

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you

  • Electrical Trade
  • NEA Electrical License
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training.
  • Valid Class 7 PNG license
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a training delivery role preference in mining and/or construction industry.
  • Evidence of previous experience on relevant machinery.
  • Well-developed computer skills with competence in MS Office Suite.
  • Desirable experience in Pronto, SAP, Safetrac recordkeeping systems.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in English
