About the role
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, this role is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of drilling pads to support the Company’s exploration drilling programs.
Key / Major Accountabilities
Key accountabilities of this position include.
• Operate and maintain mini excavators and skid steer loaders in accordance with K92 Plant Operations & Maintenance procedures and fault reporting systems.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and basic troubleshooting on equipment to identify and address potential issues.
• Construct drill pads, helipads, and access walkways in a mountainous exploration environment.
• Monitor the condition of work pads and surrounding areas, ensuring ongoing safety and stability.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have a class Four [4] Driver's License that allows f Excavator on public roads, and you must also have experience in operating excavator smaller than 20T. You must also have:
- commitment to safety [essential]
- knowledge of small excavator
- ability to work autonomously independently with limited supervision
- General knowledge of mobile equipment
