About the Role

The Senior Officer - SAP Success Factors will be the system administrator, responsible for the day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and support of the SAP SuccessFactors Suite (all People modules). This role ensures system integrity, data accuracy, user access, and optimal system performance across all SuccessFactors modules.

This position also leads end-user training efforts, supports process improvements through change management initiatives, and serves as a subject matter expert (SME) on all SuccessFactors functionalities.

Key Accountabilities

This position is responsible for the effective operation, optimisation, and governance of the SAP SuccessFactors environment across the organisation. Responsibilities include:

  • System Administration & Performance: Act as the primary administrator for all SAP SuccessFactors modules, managing configuration, workflows, roles, permissions, and routine system maintenance to ensure data integrity and reliable system performance.
  • User Access, Security & Compliance: Oversee user provisioning and de-provisioning, role-based permissions, and access reviews to maintain strong security controls and compliance with internal policies and data privacy requirements.
  • Training, Support & Change Management: Develop and deliver end-user training and documentation, provide day-to-day system support, and lead change management activities for new features, process updates, and module implementations.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Build and maintain standard and ad-hoc reports and dashboards, ensuring accurate, timely data and metrics to support decision-making, monitoring of HR  and payroll processes, and compliance.
  • Vendor, Stakeholder & Finance Coordination: Collaborate with SAP, implementation partners and external vendors, and partner with HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, and other stakeholders to resolve system issues, support integrations, and manage HRIS-related invoices and payments.
  • Health, Safety & Professional Development: Promote a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety policies, actively participating in safety initiatives, and taking ownership of ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Information Systems Business Administration or a related field (or working towards).

Required Knowledge and Experience

Required:

  • Solid hands-on administrator experience with SAP SuccessFactors or a similar HRIS system.
  • Proficiency with multiple HRIS modules, especially Employee Central and one or more of the following: Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance & Goals, Compensation, and Employee Central Payroll.
  • Experience in developing and delivering user training.
  • Solid understanding of change management principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

  • SAP SuccessFactors certification(s).
  • Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Dell Boomi, SAP CPI).
  • Familiarity with compliance and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Experience in a global or multi-site organisation.
