K92 Mining Limited are the owners the high-grade Kainantu Gold Mine in Eastern Highlands Province. Since commencing operations in 2016, we have delivered consistent production growth. More importantly, we have contributed significantly to the economy of Papua New Guinea, more than 90% of our employees and contractors are from PNG and our local education and skills development initiatives which include scholarships, traineeships and adult literacy programs continue to bring significant benefit the communities in which we operate. 

We are now transforming the operation with a new 1.2 mtpa process plant as well as extensive construction and expansion across site that will see us triple the output from our mine by 2027. About the role

In this role you will oversee the co-ordination of all K92 Mining import / export material movement and assist in facilitating clearances through correctly processing all necessary documentation.

You will also work to continuously improve the warehouse function and minimize the impact of the department on the environment and ensure the workplace health & safety of employees, Contractors and other stakeholders are maintained.

Key Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Supervise, support and foster the development of all Material staff to ensure the prompt delivery of all import / export and warehouse freight.
• Monitor performance of the team to ensure KPIs are consistently achieved
• Set weekly and daily priorities for the team, monitor progress and report on activity and outcomes
• Schedule Material movements for most cost-effective outcomes to the business.
• Ensure all stakeholders are in line with movements to and from the mine site.
• Ensure that all aspects of materials are undertaken in accordance with established policy and procedures.
• Demonstrate safety as paramount to all tasks performed.
• Assist in the Investigation of discrepancies and incidents.
• Ensure the timely completion of all tasks for all staff and contractors
• Registration of delivery of materials to the Infield logistics ensuring conformation that deliveries are correct and complete to, and from, the K92 Mining schedules and plans.
• Liaise with representatives from freight forwarders, all freight contractors, suppliers and end users.
• Ensure that co- operative working relationships are maintained.

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you

• Have excellent understanding of Pronto to support logistics requirements
• Experience with storage and handling of Dangerous goods
• Experience in Container reconciliations and tracking
• Experience in Microsoft suite office tools - Excel
• Experience with Pronto function relevant to role
• Driver Licence Class 6 plus Forklift and Telehandler experience
