About the role

Responsible for all maintenance and refurbishment works carried out by site services onsite is done safely and according to the scope of work. You are responsible for writing scope of works request for quotes and organize procurement of materials and supervising work crews and subcontractors.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Coordinate workshop and site maintenance and refurbishment works.
• Give direction, delegate tasks, and provide technical assistance to subordinates.
• Implement plant maintenance deadlines.
• Check on purchase orders and deliveries of materials for site works.
• Ensure cost control measures are considered by utilizing resources available to full capacity.

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you must have a trade qualification preferably in Carpentry or Building, others will be considered. You must be able to use software packages for emails, reporting, file storage and scheduling. In addition to this, you will have some or all the following.

• Must have experience in CAD drawing is desirable.
• Methods, practices, techniques, and equipment used in the construction, maintenance, and repair of facilities.
• Principle and practices of budget preparation and administration.
• Ability to plan, assign, direct and coordinate a variety of overlapping work areas.
• Hold an appropriate trade certificate and must have at least 5 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity. They should also have experience in training of both operating and maintenance personal.
• Possess current Class 6 driver’s license.
