K92 Mining Limited operates the Kainantu Gold Mine in the Eastern Highlands Province. Since we launched in 2016, we've grown gold production every year, boosting Papua New Guinea's economy. We take pride in supporting your communities, with nearly 94% of our team members being fellow PNG locals.

About the role
This role will be responsible for:
- Completion of all the work that is required in the underground mining environment.
- Actions including of but not limited to grouting, water and air installation, scaling and barring, installation of other mine services, drilling requirements using Air leg and Rock Drills.
Key / Major Accountabilities
Key accountabilities of this position include.
• Prior Service Crew experience.
• Conduct daily pre-start checks on all vehicles and mobile plant.
• Operation of Integrated Tool Carrier.
• Install, maintain and repair all underground services, including but not limited to:
- Air/water/pump lines
- Ventilation bags
- Firing line
- Comms cables
- Cable bolts
- Submersible pumps
- Trailing cables
- Mono stations
- Construction of ventilation walls.
• Clean and maintain Service Crew stores.
• Assist Charge Up when required.
About You
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have some or all the following.
- Minimum Grade eight (8) educational qualification, but preferable a Grade ten (10) certificate.
- A vocational training certificate is preferable.
- Has minimum of 1-year experience in similar underground mine working environment.
- Ability to read and write both Pidgin and English
- Ability to relate to mine workers comprises of different ethnic groups.
- Must be a Local from the mine impact areas.
