K92 Mining Limited are the owners the high-grade Kainantu Gold Mine in Eastern Highlands Province. Since commencing operations in 2016, we have delivered consistent production growth. About the role

This position is an entry – level contracts position that will be reporting to the Team Lead – Contracts and will be responsible for supporting the review, interpretation, and risk assessment of contracts and commercial agreements across the business.

The successful incumbent will assist with reviewing contractual terms and conditions, provide advice on specific clauses, identify legal and commercial risks, and assist with the preparation and administration of contracts in accordance with K92 policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.

As an entry-level Contracts role, the incumbent will have the opportunity to develop practical experience in commercial contracting within a mining environment, while contributing to the efficient, compliant, and consistent management of contractual risk across K92’s operations.

Key Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Assist with reviewing, drafting, and interpreting contracts and variations.
• Assist with the administration of site contracts and agreements, including extensions, amendments, variations and close-outs.
• Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date contracts and vendor master registers.
• Assist in the review of RFQ / tender documentation and supplier submissions, focusing on contractual compliance and risk alignment.
• Prepare summaries, briefing notes, and documentation on contractual issues, discrepancies, and recommendations.
• Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across the Company.

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have

• A bachelor’s degree in law.
• A recent graduate or have 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a legal office, contracts or commercial environment.
• Foundational understanding of contract law and commercial agreements.
• An interest in developing a career in the mining industry
• High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
