K92 Mining Limited are the owners the high-grade Kainantu Gold Mine in Eastern Highlands Province. Since commencing operations in 2016, we have delivered consistent production growth. More importantly, we have contributed significantly to the economy of Papua New Guinea, more than 90% of our employees and contractors are from PNG and our local education and skills development initiatives which include scholarships, traineeships and adult literacy programs continue to bring significant benefit the communities in which we operate. 

We are now transforming the operation with a new 1.2 mtpa process plant as well as extensive construction and expansion across site that will see us triple the output from our mine by 2027. About the role

Ensure secure operation by fulfilling end user requirements for timely availability of materials from the warehouse and to carry out the receipt, storage, issue, and dispatch of materials in a safe and efficient manner whilst adhering to site policies and procedures.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Receive, store, issue and dispatch of operational spares and consumables to ensure continuous production at all times.
• Unpack, sort and checking of goods received for quality, quantity and specification.
• Complete stock taking as directed by the Supply Superintendent and Supply Manager
• Support the implementation of supply process improvements.
• Investigate invoice discrepancies relating to receipting issues.

About You

To be considered for this position, candidates should be able to demonstrate experience in a warehousing environment where they have used computerized stock and inventory control systems and they have gained a good understanding of warehousing concepts and techniques. In addition to this, candidates should also (ideally) be able to demonstrate some or all of the following. 

• Knowledge and experience with use of Pronto and Microsoft office
• Competence in operation of materials handling equipment. (Eg: Forklift truck).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• A good understanding of relationship between warehouse operations and successful business performance.
• Skills in risk awareness and hazard identification.
