K92 Mining Limited operates the Kainantu Gold Mine in the Eastern Highlands Province. Since we launched in 2016, we've grown gold production every year, boosting Papua New Guinea's economy. We take pride in supporting your communities, with nearly 94% of our team members being fellow PNG locals.

About the role

Process plant operators' control, monitor, and maintain the machines and equipment used to crush, transfer, and pump ore, water, and reagents to produce high-quality gold concentrate for K92 Mining Company.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Fill log and check sheets
• Report any equipment, faults and unsafe practice to shift boss.
• Collect 2hrs samples.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel working within the area of responsibility.
• Assist in isolation and de-isolation of equipment.
• Preparing and measuring the reagents (PAX, CMC, Hydrated lime and Flocculation) that are used in the processing plant.

About You

To be considered for this role, you must have a Grade 12 Certificate with good personal attributes or recent Mineral Processing Graduate from Unitech. In addition to this you will have some or all the following.

• Be physically fit and enjoy practical and manual activities.
• Able to read and follow written instructions.
• The ability to work as part of a multicultural team.
• Good hand-eye co-ordination.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
