K92 Mining Limited are the owners the high-grade Kainantu Gold Mine in Eastern Highlands Province. Since commencing operations in 2016, we have delivered consistent production growth. We are now transforming the operation with a new 1.2 mtpa process plant as well as extensive construction and expansion across site that will see us triple the output from our mine by 2027. About the role

As K92 expands our Kainantu underground gold mine, we seek to add a Talent Acquisition Advisor to our Talent Acquisition team based in Brisbane. The purpose of this role is to partner with key internal stakeholders to provide effective recruitment services predominantly for the Brisbane office and site-based expatriate roles.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

  • Ensure end to end recruitment services are provided for hiring managers including but not limited to advertising of roles, selection criteria, screening of applicants, interviews, pre–employment assessments.
  • Supporting hiring managers in the recruitment process, providing coaching where necessary and being a member of the interview panel.
  • Advice on and coordinate employment offers including terms and conditions of employment.
  • Ensure K92 internal database is kept up to date and necessary notes and comments are added.
  • Ensure all new starters meet and comply with minimum requirements including pre-employment medical, vaccinations as required, police clearance and identity check.
  • Coordinate and manage invoicing and payments to agency and other recruitment providers.
  • Ensure the function is cost-effective, compliant and that it uses a competency-based approach to selection.
  • Ensure all company related documents are updated and relevant and correct versions are published and in use.
  • Ensure compliance with all recruitment and onboarding procedures
  • Optimisation of the PageUp recruitment system including the development of talent pools for high risk and high turnover roles

About You

Ideal applicants will be degree qualified and have experience within an internal or external recruitment environment with exposure to a technical or heavy industry field, as well as

  • Relevant work experience in a technical recruitment environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and strong emotional intelligence.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office suite especially MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Strong active listening & interpersonal skills for rapport building, conflict resolution & training
