About us

K92 Mining Limited are the owners the high-grade Kainantu Gold Mine in Eastern Highlands Province. Since commencing operations in 2016, we have delivered consistent production growth. More importantly, we have contributed significantly to the economy of Papua New Guinea, more than 90% of our employees and contractors are from PNG and our local education and skills development initiatives which include scholarships, traineeships and adult literacy programs continue to bring significant benefit the communities in which we operate. 

We are now transforming the operation with a new 1.2 mtpa process plant as well as extensive construction and expansion across site that will see us triple the output from our mine by 2027. About the role

Joining our projects team, you will ensure the timely availability of materials from the warehouse and to carry out the receipt, storage, issue, and dispatch of materials for the project department in a safe and efficient manner whilst adhering to site policies and procedures

Key Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Receive, store, issue and despatch of operational spares and consumables to ensure continuous production at all times. 
• Unpack, sort and checking of goods received for quality, quantity and specification.
• Ensure all goods are issued in accordance with company procedures and discrepancies are investigated in a timely manner
• Complete stock taking as directed by the Supply Superintendent and Supply Manager.
• Investigate invoice discrepancies relating to receipting issues.
• Support the implementation of supply process improvements.
• Maintain compliance with Supply standard operating procedures (SOP’S).
• Ensure Warehouse housekeeping and all activities are carried out to a standard that is conducive to ensuring an injury free workplace.

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have

• Demonstrated skill in the use of supply computing software.
• Lower secondary School Education
• Knowledge of the following software: Pronto, Microsoft office suite
• Good interpersonal skills together with effective communication skills.
• Demonstrated skills in risk awareness and hazard identification.
• Demonstrated skills in analysis and problem solving.
• Demonstrated skills in warehousing concepts and techniques.
• Competence in operation of materials handling equipment. (Eg: Forklift truck).
