About the role

Working as part of the exploration team, the primary purpose of this position is to monitor and reduce costs associated with the Exploration Surface Operations, and ensuring Helicopters contracted operate within contractual requirements.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Oversee that the helicopters flight schedules and daily operations with contractors and continuously evaluate and improve helicopter operations to increase efficiency and reduce costs within optimal load.
• Ensure open communication with all relevant stakeholders. Facilitate and chair meetings including Exploration, Helicopter Contractor, QED, CA and Landowner groups.
• Develop and maintain a cost control system for the exploration projects, including cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting. Analyze project costs and variances to identify areas of potential savings.

About You

To be considered for this role, you must be an experienced Travel Agent with experience in either the Mining, Construction, Engineering or Oil and Gas industries. In addition to this you will have some or all the following.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Well-developed planning and organizational skills.

• Computer proficiency in MS Office suite especially excels.

• Ability to solve problems and find solutions swiftly.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
