K92 Mining Limited operates the Kainantu Gold Mine in the Eastern Highlands Province. Since we launched in 2016, we've grown gold production every year, boosting Papua New Guinea's economy. We take pride in supporting your communities, with nearly 94% of our team members being fellow PNG locals.

About the role

The role will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of all K92 Mining import/export material movements and facilitate customs clearances through accurate documentation, while minimizing environmental impact and ensuring the health and safety of all stakeholders.

Key / Major Accountabilities

· Supervise, support, and guide Materials staff to ensure timely delivery of freight, while setting daily and weekly priorities and monitoring performance against KPIs.

· Schedule material movements for cost-effectiveness, ensure alignment with mine site logistics, and oversee the registration and confirmation of deliveries.

· Ensure all materials handling complies with company policies and procedures, with safety prioritized in all tasks.

· Liaise with freight forwarders, contractors, suppliers, and end users to maintain cooperative working relationships and ensure smooth logistics operations.

· Investigate discrepancies and incidents, ensure timely task completion by staff and contractors, and report on progress and outcomes.

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you must have a minimum qualification with experience relating to the role. In addition to this, you will have some or all the following.

· Experience in Microsoft suite office tools

· Experience with Pronto function to Support logistics requirements.

· Experience with storage and handling of Dangerous goods

· Experience in Container reconciliations and tracking
