K92 Mining Limited operates the Kainantu Gold Mine in the Eastern Highlands Province. Since we launched in 2016, we've grown gold production every year, boosting Papua New Guinea's economy. We take pride in supporting your communities, with nearly 94% of our team members being fellow PNG locals.

About the role

Prepares surfaces, mix paints for different needs, and apply them with brushes or rollers to fill in cracks or apply colour on walls and other objects around the buildings in the mine area.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Reading paint application instructions and examining surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary.
• Routine examination on buildings and structures onsite for any signs of damage, report and rectify timely.
• Conduct stock take on section hand and other trade accessories.
• Carry out other daily duties including work orders assigned by the coordinator.

About You

To be considered for this role, you must have Grade 10 or above and it is essential that you are a certified painter. In addition to this, you will have some or all the following.

• Minimum of 5 years in all facets of residential construction and industrial environment.
• Must be handy, able to use both hands. May also be required to kneel, stoop, crawl, or squat, and must be physically able to do so.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Oral and communication skills are an advantage.
