K92 Mining Limited operates the Kainantu Gold Mine in the Eastern Highlands Province. Since we launched in 2016, we've grown gold production every year, boosting Papua New Guinea's economy. We take pride in supporting your communities, with nearly 94% of our team members being fellow PNG locals.

About the role

Provide role of operating loading and unloading truck, of mining employees from the mine site to camp area and vice versa and upholding the Company’s Code of Conduct, by displaying the appropriate work attitude and teamwork within the underground section. Observe and adhere to the workplace health & safety policies.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• This position reports to the Shift Supervisor and forms part of the Mining team accountable for providing effective service render by the organization.
• Maintain good working relationship with colleague workers.
• Responsible to operate LHD’s and low-profile trucks.
• Responsible for housekeeping.
•  
  Responsible for cleaning after use and checking before use.

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have some or all the following.

• Possess PNG Class 6 and 7 driver license.
• Has an underground mining work experience
•  
  Ability to read and write both Pidgin and English
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with other team members and K92 Mining Ltd employees
• Must have at least 5 or more years of truck driving.
• Must be able to understand the company’s targets and work towards achieving the targets.
• Have a strong understanding of the mining cycle.
• Flexible, adaptable and be a strong and proactive team player.
• Ability to meet agreed schedules and deadlines.
