K92 Mining Limited are the owners the high-grade Kainantu Gold Mine in Eastern Highlands Province. Since commencing operations in 2016, we have delivered consistent production growth. About the role

Processing Services Operators are multi skilled technicians responsible for the day-to-day operation of the

•             mobile crushing and screening plant, conveying and stacking system.

•             concrete batching plant and agitator trucks

•             pastefill binder preparation plant

The Processing Services division operates on a continuous shift roster operating on both day and night shift.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Perform the day-to-day operation of the mobile crushing and screening plant, conveying and stacking system; concrete batching plant and surface agitator trucks and pastefill binder preparation plant
• Effectively operate and maintain mobile equipment including Light Vehicle, Front End Loader, Excavator, telehandler and forklift according to all K92 Operation & Maintenance procedures and fault reporting systems
• Operate fixed plant equipment including jaw and cone crushers, screening plant, concrete batching plant, binder preparation plant, and cement offloading facility according to all K92 Operation & Maintenance procedures and fault reporting systems.
• Monitor equipment and systems to ensure correct and safe operation.
• Ensure quality of material being crushed, batched and prepared meets the correct quality standards by taking regular samples
• Perform minor maintenance activities on all equipment and provide input and assistance maintenance personnel as needed.
• Perform clean-up and housekeeping to ensure a safe, clean and productive work area.
• Conduct machinery inspections throughout to ensure all systems are functioning properly.
• Perform daily safety prestart maintenance checks.
• Ensure all K92 safety standards, policies & procedures are always adhered to
• Ensure that adequate duty of care is exercised in all aspects of work activities.
• Ensure utmost compliance of Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and any site-specific rules which may apply within varying site operation.

About You

To be considered for this role, you must have a Grade 10 Certificate or technical trade Loader and excavator licences and relevant experience as well as Valid PNG Class 3 and Class 6 licence. In addition to this you will have some or all the following.

• Five (5) or more years relevant work experience
• Experience with operation and maintenance of mobile crushing equipment including but not limited to jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, conveyors and stackers
• Experience with concrete batching plant operations.
• High risk work certificates including, Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, Equipment Isolation
• Ability to perform duties with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work shift work
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels, with good written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and autonomously.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Strong active listening & interpersonal skills for rapport building, conflict resolution & training.
